Knowledge 2024 was a whirlwind three-day extravaganza of learning, networking, and fun.
If you haven’t already seen it, we had ServiceNow MVP Willem Zeiler recap each day of his experience at Knowledge and CreatorCon, and he went above and beyond to showcase the fun on the show floor.
As you read through, click the links to each of the sessions Willem is talking about to watch the recaps online. You can explore over 100+ sessions online by using our Knowledge Digital Experience, including all the keynotes over the course of the conference.
Interested in attending next year? Go ahead and read on, experience Willem’s Vegas adventure, and get excited for the possibility of doing the same next year!
Starting the Day
The day started bright and early as I met up with my colleague, Sérgio Pinheiro, to capture some awesome shots for our videos. Sérgio's a wizard with the camera, and we got some great footage, including stuff for my YouTube channel – stay tuned for that!
Bill McDermott's Keynote
Next up was the first Keynote , where I met with fellow MVPs. Bill's talk on AI and ServiceNow had me intrigued. An AI-powered bakery? That's something I want to learn more about! A clear example of the power of AI released to every corner of the business. Enabling customers and their customers to make work flow!

Exploring Hack4Good
After that, it was off to the conference floor for a Hack4Good session. We teamed up with loads of developers – over 50 today and a whopping 175 in total – to build a cool app for Technovation. This app's all about helping women around the globe reach their full potential as developers.
I've got some amazing female colleagues and friends in the ServiceNow Community, so supporting Technovation's mission was a no-brainer. Michelle Slater, our lead architect, worked tirelessly to get everything ready for K24. It's awesome to see so many talented developers chipping in to help.
HR Service Delivery at FASFC
I joined a great session on ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD). FASFC, Belgium's food safety authority together with their partner, shared how they used the HR blueprint to make life easier for their 80,000 civil servants. They nailed it with some great insights, humor, and interactions. Many of the participants walked away with some new and actionable insights.

Meeting Friends!
Walking around the Expo I ran into some of my friends from the Certified Master Architect (CMA) Cohort. All anxiously waiting for the results of our exams to come in. It was great catching up with Sarah Garey, Celina Zamora, Dan Bruhn, Mark Obee, Maria Gabriela Ochoa Perez Waechter, and lots of other MVPs. The ServiceNow crew always brings good vibes!
A Selfie with Myself!
Mark told me my picture is on the wall at Knowledge! How cool is that? Emma, always supportive, insisted on snapping a selfie of me next to my portrait. Gotta love her enthusiasm!
Platform Analytics and Process Mining
Time to dive into Session 2 together with Maud. This one was all about Platform Analytics and Process Mining, two powerhouse tools that work better together. Platform Analytics gives us the “what” on key performance indicators, while Process Mining dives deep into the "why" behind the numbers, showing us where we can tweak things for the better. A very well-balanced session with a solid presentation and nice step-by-step demo.

Ending the Day with Drinks with Customers
Nothing better than kicking back with our awesome customers over a drink. The vibe was laid-back, and we swapped stories, jokes, and insights, building stronger bonds beyond the business side of things.
Starting the Day!
During breakfast I met two former colleagues; Steven Boelhouwer and Mike den Hertog. They presented a session on day one that I could not join. But I can imagine that the people that could have learned a lot, these two are rockstars.
While catching up with them I saw (9x) MVP Mark Roethof and together we went towards the Keynote to have a front row seat.
CJ Desai's Keynote
The Keynote started with the amazing Aylee Andersen and Dhruv Gupta on stage. Talking about their story, the Community, and what it means to be an MVP. Very proud on how they were on stage, confident and clear, representing us!
CJ Desai talked about how you can use different kinds of AI easily, whether it's ones you make yourself or ones built for a specific purpose. Plus, he showed off the cool integration of NowAssist and Copilot, making it super easy to get help whenever you need it.
And now you can turn reports into PowerPoint presentations with just one click! But the real game-changer? MyAssist, where you can pick a C-level exec to be your virtual assistant. It's all about making things simpler and more personal for everyone using ServiceNow.
As Jensen Huang said - the train does not seem to go so fast if you are on it, so get on it!

Group Photo with Pat Casey
Right after the keynote, Tiago Macul, Marcos Vinícius Kassak, Ashutosh Munot, Dhruv Gupta, Rafael Cardoso, and I were lucky enough to ran into Pat Casey and could not resist taking a group picture.
Hack4Good – Day 2
Day 2 was even better than the first day. We spend the evening of the first day to prepare for day 2. We checked the stories, cleaned them, clarified them and set them up, ready to be picked up.
And it paid of! Day 2 was smooth and developers picked things up so quickly that the backlog was cleared before the last session. But of course, thinking on our feet, we made it work. The champions of the last round validated all the stories, double checked them, and made them better.
Tomorrow will be the final day and since we made so much progress we have time to brainstorm about the future. The developers of the session of tomorrow will work with the big whiteboards to map out the future of the app.
Mastering the Cyber Future: A Blueprint for Building Operational Resilience
Presented by Edwin van den Heuvel and Michelle Slater, this session focused on fortifying operational resilience by integrating cybersecurity and compliance in line with regulatory directives with Tanium.
They explained how to defend against cyber threats, leveraging GenAI, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Drawing inspiration from Plat4mation's Hackathon, Edwin and Michelle shared practical tools and integration strategies to empower attendees to navigate cybersecurity.
A New Friend + Minifig
I ran into Jesalyn Smith and invited her to build our lego minifigure together. We already talked about the hackathon and I was convinced that she would do amazing. Turns out? She did, her team has won the hackathon!
She is such an amazing person and of course it was the perfect moment for the #selfiewithmyself!
360 Exchange: Master CSDM and CMDB for Better Decision-Making
In this session we were set around tables and shared where we are in our CMDB and CSDM journeys and how we navigate the challenges that we run into. Our table facilitator was one of my old trainers from the CMA program, nice to see him in person.
The session was very insightful and many pitfalls, tips, and tricks were exchanged. Main conclusion in the group is it is important to treat the journey as a marathon. You have to be smart, take the proper steps, to have a sustainable and reliable solution.
How to Transform Your IT Service Management with a Remote-First Approach
I have to be honest, this session made me a bit jealous. Alfredo Patron from TeamViewer was presenting an amazing solution that they have built for the Apple Vision Pro! Would love to have one for myself.
They connect remote workers and centralized experts together using TeamViewer and ServiceNow. This streamlines the experience for users and enables workers to do more, while reducing the need for long trips or travels. In addition, Elmer shared his vision on the future of IT Service management and the increasing importance of and shift towards servitization.

The Power of Women
Our booth is right at the exit doors of the Keynote. The Women keynote was finished just as I was dropping by our booth. I was amazed seeing all these powerful women all at once! It is so important to have a role model you can relate to and see what is possible. Connecting together helps people find their confidence and find the possible.

If you did not feel the impact of Vegas before, Day 3 is where it gets real! Days filled with constant excitement, connections, knowledge and celebrations. Time to close it off with a bang!
Accelerating Innovation with Creativity & Connection
This panel-style keynote brought together creativity and AI; two things dear to my heart. Dan Levy and Jon Batiste gave insights in the way they work, how they collaborate, and what drives them. They both had their setbacks and challenges. But in the end; “it is the best ideas that win”.

The CreatorCon Keynote
Talking about winning; we won The Devvies People's Choice Award!! So proud of the team and to all the Move4u devs that could not make it, we will make sure the awards will get to you safely!

Hack4Good – Day 3
As we entered the last day for Hack4Good, it was time to over deliver. What could be better than a functioning app to enable women all over the world become the best developers they can? Deliver the app AND a roadmap!
The people that attended this last session joined in on the brainstorm to come up with new functionalities that could be added. We assessed the feasibility using the feasibility matrix so the results can be used as a roadmap for the years to come.
On this final day, I want to highlight Michelle Slater. She is such an amazing colleague and her efforts were crucial to the success of this Hack4Good. And also, Maud Stigter, Anna Barrett, Marley Pavlin, Lauren Martinez, Deborah Boyer, Alan Norris, Chandra Sangoju, Haseeb Akthar Tailor, and Srini G., for manning the stations and working through these full days of energy and excitement.
MVPs on Stage
Carleen Carter, Nia McCash, Steven Bell, and Sarah Garey rocked the stage in their session. So proud to see them shine! They did an amazing job explaining what it is to be an MVP, the effort and passion that goes into it, and all that you get in return from the ServiceNow Community and the ServiceNow ecosystem.
Footprints on the Moon
What is there to say? Pitbull on the closing party inviting us all to his family.
Although the text of the lyrics might not be suitable to share here, the thoughts he shared are. He talked about the importance of paying it forward. When you do what is right, the sky isn’t the limit, because after all; “there’s footprints on the moon”!
Thank you, Jordan!
Three days of live blogs, could not have done it without Jordan; the powerhouse behind the screens making sure the blogs get reviewed and posted every morning. Thank you, Jordan!
