Overview

What Is Quote Self-Service?

Quote Self-Service empowers channel partners to manage the full quoting lifecycle — from browsing a permission-aware product catalog to building, reviewing, and submitting quotes — all within their existing Partner Portal experience. There is no need for partners to contact enterprise teams or wait for a quote to be generated on their behalf.

This builds on top of the existing Quote Management for Channel Partners capability (where enterprise teams create quotes on behalf of partners) by adding a full self-service layer — so partners can drive the quoting process themselves, from start to finish.

What Partners Can Do

From inside the Partner Portal, partners can now manage the complete quoting workflow without leaving the portal or contacting an enterprise user.

✓ Create a new Quote directly from the Partner Portal — linked to an Account, Opportunity, or Deal Registration
✓ Browse a permission-aware product catalog — only authorized products are surfaced, reducing risk and ensuring compliance
✓ Add and manage line items including product offering, quantity, ramp schedules, unit of measure, contract start and end dates
✓ Apply header-level discounts and review pricing adjustments before submission
✓ Review quote details across a guided multi-step flow: Quote Details → Additional Details → Product Catalog → Line Items → Review & Submit
✓ Submit the quote for enterprise review — status tracked in real time from the portal
✓ View all existing quotes associated with their organization, including status (Draft, In Review, Approved, Completed, Revised)
