No, sorry, I don't think this is possible.
I've been looking into this widget to see if there's a way to get it to show KB Article titles (Short Description) instead of/in addition to the KB # itself since the KB # is useless to end users, but that seems like a futile effort.
Whatever logic the system uses for KB article subscriptions, I think it's gotta be updated by ServiceNow because it seems that when you subscribe to an article, you technically subscribe to the latest version (makes sense) - and then when that version is updated, there appears to some sort of logic to auto-subscribe you to the following version. But when it does that, it doesn't unsubscribe you from the old version and that's the root cause of the problem. Not sure if it's something that we admins can address or if it has to come from ServiceNow. Either way, it ought to come from ServiceNow...

Agree 100% with this. Subscriptions (and the recently added favourites option) should be really powerful additions to the knowledge base, allowing repeat visitors to quickly bookmark the pages they frequently use. Instead, its almost useless, as the flaws described above make it impossible to maintain a manageable list. I really wish some time would be dedicated to making the feature more user friendly as it seems to me that fixing some basic issues would enhance the functionality a great deal.
