1. How to Update Reference Number on Business Applications - All ServiceNow Environments

Hi Team.

 

In the attached file are details of a number of Business Applications which have the same reference number populated in all ServiceNow environments.

For each of these pairs, the reference number for one of them needs to be changed to a unique value.

Can the team please investigate and complete this in the Development, Staging and Production ServiceNow environments.

 

can any one please help me here , what should i do here .

Why the tagging? Isn't any one else good enough to answer your question? Do you know that tagging doesn't work, since everyone is doing it and it's the most annoying thing ever! You aren't entitled to the time of people helping others on the community. They help if they have time. This just seems that my answer isn't good enough for you, because you are only asking Ankur.

Even though my answer isn't something you were waiting for: you can update the number on one instance and, assuming everything else, including the sys_id of the records is the same, export the changed records to xml and import them in the other instances. If they are different records (per sys_id), write a fix script and run that on every single instance.
Also: check where the duplicate numbers are coming from, because if they are imported like this, you will get them back on the next integration run.

How do you expect any answer to this? What have you tried? What happened? How did you do it? What is your setup? Are the sys_id's the same, or not? If you aren't providing information, we can't help you.
