Adaptive Auth

Does anyone know or has anyone implemented a way to flag a user account or session based on their login profile using Adaptive Authentication.

We want to use Adaptive Auth and Data Filtration... and based on that if you logged in and we are limiting your view... we'd like to display a message that tells you something to the effect of "Limited data available, based on the fact you are not on a managed network" <- terrible but that's the "idea"

I have both AA and DF working but not sure how to "detect" they are in play after the login... or at time a query... I'm not sure what's available to be looked at...so for example...if we blocked some CMDB access off network... I'd like to display something under the field indicating it was limited

Any ideas?

Thanks

Hi @Daniel Peel ,

In the Vancouver release, we are coming up with a new capability of reducing user roles based on adaptive authentication policies. We are calling this feature policy-based session access.

When roles are removed we will also show this info to the end users.

Please feel free to reach out to me, if you have questions regarding this.

Thanks,
