Add Watch List members of request to My requests

I have added a List Collector variable to a Catalog requested item.

My notification now correctly send an email to the request and the people on this Watch list.

Also, the requester can see this item in his "My Requests" lists on the Portal.

How can I also include this requested item in the "My Requests" list for the people in the Watch List?

I figured this out.  We were making this way too difficult I think.

All I had to do was to add 1 condition to theOOB Request filter called "Service Catalog Requested Item Portal".

See screenshot.

I would update this one: gr.addEncodedQuery('requested_for=javascript:gs.getUserID()');

If you're unsure of the syntax for adding in the watch list query, build a query in a regular list view, copy the query via the breadcrumb, and then you can adjust accordingly for the script and paste it in.

Hi Joe, this seems to be working only for the users in the watch list with ITIL role only.

Did you try making it work for non-ITIL users who are part of the watch list and want the records listed in their "My Requets" page?

Hello Rahul,

You got the solution for this ?

If yes please let us know here. Thank you!

I have raised a case with Servicenow and got informed of a custom ACL blocking it.
