Adding a Custom Field to the Live Profile Table - Possible and Required ACLs?

Hi everyone,

 

I’m currently working on customizing the Live Profile table in ServiceNow, and I’d like to add a new custom field. I have a few questions:

  1. Is it possible to add a custom field to the Live Profile table? If so, is there any specific process I should follow to do this?

  2. Are there any Access Control Lists (ACLs) that I need to consider or configure when adding this field, especially if I want to control who can view or edit it?

Any guidance or best practices would be greatly appreciated!
