Adding category in the Service catalog

Hello,

I am trying to add a new category in the service catalog.

I have followed the below steps

Service catalog-> click on the + sign-> selected the catagory-> add here

Category is being added

But when am refreshing the page the category is disappearing.Can some one help me where am wrong?

Thanks for this thread. I was having the exact same problem, but none of the above suggestions fixed it. The way I fixed it was to temporarily move the Cat Item to another Category, delete the offending Category (the one that wouldn't stick around after refreshing the page), recreate the Category, and move the Cat Item back under the new Category. Now my Category is "sticking" on the page.

and do you want to use this category in Catalog Item. ??

Yes, I added the Category via the Categories list, and yes, this is a Service Catalog category.

Go to the "sc_category" table and create a category of your own and make sure you add the Catalog.

I have created a sample created and kept in Service catalog and i can see it.

Please let me know if you have any issue
