I am having an issue with Adhoc tasking, I am not able to see New UI Action even if Adhoc is on.
Where should I investigate this?

There is also a "omit new condition" on the related list OOB. The condition is "answer = !parent.active;".
Check if your RITM is active.
If this does bot work then need to check the ACL/ Role conditions on sc_task table.

Practically, it is not a good or best practice to create tasks manually at the RITM level.
Please avoid doing this, as it will lead to technical debt.
