Are the business rules going to run when doing an import on cmdb_ci table

I am currently performing updates on the CMDB CI table through Transform Maps. Could you please confirm whether all applicable Business Rules will be triggered during the data transformation process?

By default, the Run business rules checkbox on a Transform Map is unchecked. This means standard insert or update Business Rules on the target table (cmdb_ci) will not run during data import to improve performance. [1, 2

Hi @nagasailaja

If Run business rules check box on a Transform Map is checked then all applicable BR will be triggered.

If it is not checked, you must manually check the Run business rules box inside your Transform Map settings if you want required BRs to run.
