I am finding more frequently the need to evaluate plugins/apps that are only available on the ServiceNow Store.
At this time, i do not believe we can install Store apps on a PDI - please correct me if i am wrong.
Due to company restrictions it is not possible for me to simply install these apps on a sub-prod instances to evaluate/ learn/play.
When will ServiceNow allow (their) Store apps to be installed on PDIs?

That's good. For the store apps, you can search within your instance and see if they pop up, if not, go to developer.service-now.com and then manage your instance and you'll see "Install plugins", try checking there as a backup.
Normally...if they allow any, it's made to all instances and isn't things that are exclusive to PDIs. And they are common type store apps from SN only, so they might be "store apps", but...they're on all instances for install. Not the same as having to go to the store and clicking "Get", which is what I assume you were wanting to do.
In any case, to speed things up, state your preferred store app here so that if/when the dev team checks out this thread, you've already mentioned it 😉

The two store apps I had been wanting to evaluate were:
1. ATF Test Generator and Cloud Runner
2. ServiceNow Remote Instance Spoke
Both of these were not available under the plugins list on my PDI, however, looking at some others on the store where it stated 'available on all ServiceNow instances' were in my plugin list - I can see why the two I wanted would not be available for PDIs, but it would have been nice 🙂
