ATF for the catalog item

Hi Developers team,

I have a requirement related to ATF and I am new to ATF as well. Not implemented ATF for a catalog item before.

My requirement. 

1). I have a catalog item as a related link on of the form (for eg- incident form).

2). Catalog request form having 4 fields on the form as list_collector variable and varriable attribute as glide_list.

3). Upon submissions of a request , Service Request got generated (REQ) then RITM and then one task ( without any approval for the request).

4). After the successful closure of the TASK, the requested data from the catalog form got inserted into a particular table. for eg ( u_abc table).

Please let me know all the steps  (step by step procedure) that should be covered for this requirement.
