ATF issue writing to a field in SP

I see that step 5 passed as expected means the data in core_company was found but it fails when I try to set it to the field on the form.

You should use Open existing record after record query.
Check right form is open or not.

Please use below steps to solve your issue -
1. Add 'Record Validation' Test Step after step no 5 - This step will validate the record which you have queried in step no 5
2. Step No 7 to be added will be - 'Set Variable values (SP)' Test step. Give reference of step no 6 on the field where you want to set the field value
