ATF + update sets

I've noticed that not all types of ATF steps are added to update sets.

ATF steps that are added: Create a User, Record Insert, Record Query -> looks like server-side steps.

ATF steps that are NOT added: Open an Existing Record, Click a UI Action, Set Component Value (Custom UI), Click Component (Custom UI) -> looks like UI-side steps.

Should it really work like this?

Hey Anna,

This should not be the case, otherwise your ATF will never work if you want to migrate it across different instance(Dev to Test). Kindly make sure you are in your update set while making the change.

If you thing you forgot to capture multiple steps in update set. Then I would advise to create a new update set, be in your update set and then click on copy test/copy test suite. This will create a new copy of the ATF and will capture everything in the update set which then can be migrated to another instance.

On first place, this should not happen but for some reasons if it's happening with you, try "Force to update set" UI action.
