Auto add Affected CI to Change request

Hi,

I have a requirement were the affected CI's need to be auto added to the Change request based on the CI chosen in the form.

For e.g.) If I have choose a configuration item called 'A' and it's patching cycle is XYZ then I want to add all the CI's with the patching cycle XYZ to the affected CI's list of that change request.

Thanks

Hi @Jake Adams

It is OOTB by SN. If you add any CI as main CI on change form, affected or impacted Services/ CI will be added auto in change in related List.

Hi,

OOTB only the CI that we choose in the form will be added to the Affected CI's related list.

But as per my requirement if I have choose a configuration item called 'A' and it has patching cycle let's say XYZ, then I want to add all the CI's from the CMDB table with the patching cycle XYZ to be added to the affected CI's related list of that change request.

Hi @Jake Adams

I guess in this , use the change template or standard change  and add affected CI in related list.
