Automatic reclamation

Hello everyone,

I received an email today informing me that:

"Your Personal Developer Instance (PDI) is scheduled for automatic reclamation on September 24, 2026."

However, my last activity on the instance was only about a day ago.

I use my PDI every day, or at least every two days.

Could you please explain why I received this email? Am I really going to lose my PDI even though I still need it and actively use it?

Amazing, @jean-baptisp! Glad to hear that you got one!

Maybe it comes together, having the PDIs reclaimed more often will make them more available in general.

I think there was big problem with too many people having one or more PDI that was logged in once a week but not used properly but from the support and operational perspective it was too expensive to keep "inactive" instance that was used only occasionally. 

Instead, it might be replaced by system where PDI will be given to shorter period and will need to be reclaimed and requested again...

They talked about 90 days but it was not confirmed and my PDI was reclaimed after 70-75 days, so it is strange. But knowing that I can get a new one instantly would make it fine.
