Basic Authentication error while configuring REST message

Hi All,

Trying to integrate ServiceNow to Jira [outbound integration], I am using basic authentication and configuring the credentials like username [jira login id] and password as jira token. However i got the below error.

After i search in google then changed the password length 

But still getting same error. Please help me to solve this error.

This is an article describing how to resole this issue.

Could you maybe also tell us a bit more regarding the integration you are tying to set up between ServiceNow and Jira?

You can do it by going to configuration of basic auth configuration table(sys_auth_profile_basic) and there you can change the length of it
