I would like to seek your assistance regarding the Branding Virtual Agent task. I have already completed the task and performed cross-verification to ensure that all requirements were met. However, the task status is still showing as Failed.

Could you please review the task status and help identify the reason for the failure? I would appreciate your guidance on any additional actions required from my side.

Thank you for your support and assistance.

Hi @PreetyK97453416,

This kind of mismatch, where the task looks correct in the UI but validation still shows Failed, usually comes down to one of a few things.

First, check whether the branding change was actually published or activated, not just saved. Some Virtual Agent branding settings sit in a draft state until you explicitly activate them and the validation script only reads the active record.

Second, double check you updated the correct branding record. There can be more than one branding configuration in an instance, general chat branding versus Virtual Agent specific branding and updating the wrong one will still show your changes visually in the widget while the grader checks a different table.

Third, look closely at exact values. If the task expects a specific name, color code, or icon and what you entered has an extra space, different casing, or a slightly different label, an automated check will fail even though it looks right to the eye.

Also worth trying, clear your browser cache or open the portal in an incognito window before re-checking. Sometimes the widget is still showing a cached version and the actual record is fine.

If none of that resolves it, check the system logs around the time you submitted, there is often a specific error from the validation script that tells you exactly which field or condition did not match. That is usually the fastest way to pin it down.
