Broadcast Message to all users

So i have seen this asked many times on the Community and there does not seem to be an answer.

**WE ARE ON GENEVA RELEASE**

UNTIL NOW.

There is a table that is not advertised in ServiceNow anywhere that i can find.   There is no wiki about it, and there is no known discussion on the community about it that i could find.

Well DING DING DING... ServiceNow Devs do it again.

Broadcast Message:   sys_broadcast_message   table.

There is nothing in the filter navigator about it,   so you'll have to create something for it to be in your Navigator List.

I have customized my form a lot.   the basic form is just that:   Basic:

The message seems like it's Full HTML coding   and it is displayed like so:   Just the red box.   I have customized it to be the blue header in the center and spaced out.

But so far it's pretty awesome.   I wanted to post about it because there have been so many questions about it without an answer to this point.

Hello,

Is that possible to show a broadcast message based on User's Browser Version?

Thanks & Regards,

Hi Steven,

How did you achieved the gs.addInfoMessage()? Where did you written that (either in conditional script or run script)?

How to dynamically return the message based on some condition?

Please put your thoughts on this.

Thanks & Regards,
Ram Prakash

I dont know how the addinfomessage worked, it just popped up.   it doesn't pop up everytime, just randomly.   i cant figure out the pattern.

i actually   have not used this, because i didnt want to get started and then it change randomly during an upgrade.   I figured we could wait on using it until SN develops it more

This functionality (Broadcast Message) is the same as this image?

I am looking for how to do this type of messages. I would like to know if this option exists for Fuji or Helsinki?

This functionality was started in Geneva.   However it wasn't intended for "public use" yet.   They are still building out the functionality of this and they say it may be ready by Istanbul or the "J" release.

So the functionality could change tremendously, so if you build onto what's there it could change when you upgrade to a later version.
