Building catalog item in App Engine Studio

Hi All,

I'm new to App Engine Studio. I want to build a New Catalog item using App Engine. Below are few of the requirements which I'm not sure is achievable using App Engine.

1. creating 2 column view.

2. I want to populate some of the variable values based on selection of Reference variable value, basically want to use a client script & script include to display the same.

3. Want to create variable sets, and make use of one which is already in use.

Please let me know if you have any reference and any link would be of great help.

Through App Engine Studio and catalogue builders you can create only basic catalog items with configurations. there are certain limitations to it. 

Client script and UI policies are some of the limitations.  So you need to use the Platform view to use the client script.

Hi,

For creating catalog Item why do you need a App engine. You can make use of Maintain items module in ServiceNow and create your catalog item.
