Hi everyone,
I built a Chrome extension called ServiceNow Recorder Pro and would love feedback from the community.
The idea is simple: while working on a ServiceNow instance, you can record your actions and export the result as step-by-step documentation with screenshots.
Current export formats:
- PDF
- PowerPoint
- Excel
- HTML
- Markdown
I built it mainly for:
- UAT evidence
- operation manuals
- implementation walkthroughs
- handover documents
- documenting configuration work
Chrome Web Store: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/mkncgeeekagecdggkpnomhcfbamodnla?utm_source=item-share-cb
Demo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nJxeolOOohM&t=29s
I am especially interested in feedback on:
- Whether this fits your real documentation workflow
- Which export format matters most to you
- Whether the generated step descriptions are useful enough
- Any ServiceNow screens where recording does not work well
Thanks in advance. I am happy to improve it based on real ServiceNow use cases.
