Assignment rules can do this, no BR needed.

Hi @sparkles I get the attraction with a business rule. Unfortunately it would require an element of hardcoding of sys_id’s which is bad practice.
The good news though if you follow the instructions by @DrewW in the last comment this should sort out your issue - No scripting required.
Please flag as helpful or if it’s resolved the issue, CORRECT!

Hi @sparkles ,
do you have a very simple setup since you need a business rule to change to the exact same group each time state change? Doesn’t sounds like a very good approach… try to give some more insights to what actually should be achieved and the business requirement.
If my answer has helped with your question, please mark my answer as the accepted solution and give a thumbs up.
Best regards

Hi, @sparkles .
One of the characteristics of business rules is that they can execute various rules in sequence. The proposed rule may affect other business processes beyond the one you intend to implement. It is recommended to design the rule with strictly defined starting conditions, as needed.
regards.
