Calendar_duration field documentation

Hi,

 

Can anyone tell me what this field is used for? The only documentation I can find about it is here:

It just says it's not being used by change management. What about in other modules? Is it a legacy field?

Here is a snippet of the definition, it just says it's not being used by change management.

I think, may be some limitation in API , this can  be used. |May be log a now support case to get more details.
