Can i add more choices to Discovery Source field?

Hi Friends,
I have done three integrations like SCCM, Solarwinds, Bigfix. I have a requirement based on integration data the Discovery Source should get update like if i am pulling SCCM data Discovery Source field should update SCCM.
Question: Can I add choices like SCCM, BigFix, Solarwinds to Discovery Source field? As per knowledge Discovery Source field is only for Discovery Tool. We are not using the Discovery yet. Please suggest me the best practice.

Yes, just be sure to add any additional choices to the choice list associated with [cmdb_ci] and not to other tables which extend cmdb_ci. Also, it's generally not a good idea to alter choices defined OOB. Instead of redefining 'MS SMS' to 'SCCM' add a new value for SCCM and set 'MS SMS' to inactive.
