Can I give matric _admin role to the itil user?

The reports are linked to the incident matric table are itil peoples not able to see with out matric_admin role, can I give matric_admin role to the itil user, is any problem? or any other way itil user can able see the incident matric record.

You can also Check the OOB read ACL on metic_instance table. and add relevant roles there. (ITIL)

it is always recommend to add roles to the groups instead of users.

Technically you can. Though wouldn't ITIL users get too much access to Metrics with that? I would say yes for example because with this they can also delete Metrics. Though that's up to you ofcourse.

 

Also do check if this has no licensing implications.
