Can we have two different reference fields of the same table ?

Probably the tile may not be complete informatiove ......

1) A custom table need a Mail-Id to be selected from sys_user table.

2) I checked the display value in the sys_user table all fields, and is having false   value for all the fields.

3) when i created a reference field name is getting populated.

That link is not serving my need. Actually unable to understand completely,

My need is to get field populated with Email Id instead of name.

And also the the question is unanswered,

as i could see ....no filed in the sys_user table has the display value true, then how come it is displaying name value.

can you share the screenshot of your dot walk field and list view columns   ?

And Also i am unable to see the dot walking fields in the List View.

Example, for the aboce reference field i actaully created dot walking field of last name and first naem .

I am unable to see, both the fields in the list. How can make it visible on the list.

Hi Naresh,

you need to make the email-id field display value as true, if you want to select email-id in the field. By default, it will take name field, if name field exists in the table.

1) sys_user is a system table.

2) I am using it the (Mail ID ) field in my custom table.

3) without changing teh display value of the sys_user table, can we populate the Email field.

4) why I dont want to change the display value , because incident table cont contains caller ID which is refered to sys_user.

Any solution ???
