Can you change the Service Portal character limit for 'short description' on the 'icon link' widget? OOB it's limed to 255 characters.

Try doing it from the Dictionary of the Widget.

Short description doesn't exist in the widget dictionary

Hi RichardSaunders,

1) Go to Icon Link edit option

2) Instance with link

3)In this go to Open in Platform option

4) Go to Short Description field - configure dictionary- set maximum length to 500 (or any).

Richard,

I don't see short description.  What I'm trying to do is shorten it to 40 characters for short description under SP.  Right now I can type in as many characters as I want.
