Is it possible to generate a Portal Alert without it having to be created via the MIM Workbench, when the incident has been promoted to a Major Incident.
We know we can add an Announcement, but that doesn't allow users to click on the announcement and an incident is logged.
We know it works when its been promoted to a Major Incident but would like the option to create a create a Portal Alert, when its NOT a Major Incident, that would allow users to click on the link (message) on the Portal if they are affected by the issue, advising of the workaround so that it generates a child ticket and links to the parent.
Is this possible ?
