Cancel Running BR

Hello, 

I run a business in a large amount of data (12000) , i would like to stop the process of those BR , i used: /cancel_my_transaction.do and i got : All transactions have completed, nothing to cancel but i still see some BackgroundProgressJob in active transaction.
 any ideas how to stop this process.

Navigate to all active transactions and kill the job from there, if you see it.

If you have cancelled the transaction already, you can ignore it. Killing active transactions is not instant, they usually take a while. I have seen cases where sometimes it takes 15-20mins as well to cancel an active transaction.

Also, please do not use this option too many times, your instance could end up hanging and you might have to contact servicenow to restart it.

hi Nitesh Balusu, thanks for ur answer , but even when i canceled the transaction it still running cause it blocks other users , and i need to allow to them the modifications .

So the users are unable to do anything because the transaction is running?

Try reading this post, apparently he asked another admin to login and cancel the same transaction.
