Cancelling a change request to request for reason for canceling the change

Hi all.

When I am cancelling a change request all it is doing it updating the state to Cancelled and does not ask me for the reason for canceling. I have copied a section from the documentation related to this for New York release should be standard functionality?

Cancel a change request From the context menu, click Cancel Change. Provide a reason for canceling the change and click Save.

The change request is canceled and the reason for canceling the change is added to the Work Notes field.

Hi Cstangoe,

I need to research on how this is setup OOTB. That said you can create a UI Policy to set the field mandatory when the state changes to cancelled.
