Hi everyone,
I'm working with a custom table in ServiceNow and I'm running into an issue where I can't uncheck the "Unique" checkbox for a specific field. The field was initially set as unique, but now I need to allow duplicate values.
It is givving error:A unique index exists on this column. To create a non-unique index for this column use IndexCreator in the Tables & Columns page or in this column's Table record

Hi @gautam_dhamija,
Could you please share the column configuration as a screenshot?
Thanks,

you will have to reach out to ServiceNow team by raising a case to do this.
-> Removing unique indexes (to allow duplicates) is NOT possible from the standard ServiceNow UI or with the IndexCreator tool for unique indexes.
-> Only the ServiceNow Support team can remove (or modify) an index at the database level. This is a security and stability measure.
If my response helped please mark it correct and close the thread so that it benefits future readers.
