Case reply mail classified as new

Hello,
I have a problem with the classification of inbound mails.
If a mail is received without watermark and without in-reply header, but with a valid CS number in the subject, the mail is classified as new. The sender is a contact, but not the caller in the affected case.

Any ideas what triggers this behavior?

Every OOB Inbound action has a proper description associated with it. Please go through it once just to be sure all the rules are followed:-

My expectation would be that this inbound rule takes effect:

I only removed the condition (current.contact.email == email.from).

The main problem is that the mail is classified as new and not as reply, so this rule is not checked at all because the type is wrong, isn't it?

Each received email record contain logs in the related list. Please check in the logs did it skip the update inbound or not and let me know

And after that the corresponding inbound action is skipped, because the actions type is not reply:
