I am creating a catalog item and have a question about the approval/task portion of it. I'm trying to determine if it can be accomplished in Catalog Builder or if I have to create a custom flow in Flow Designer. I know it can be done with a custom flow, but I prefer doing it in Catalog Builder if it will work.
First, the manager of the person opening the request has to approve it, and once they've approved it, their manager has to approve. Since the first approvers all report to the same person, the second approver will always be that one person. Once both approvals are done, then a task is kicked off.
Using the Catalog Builder functionality, will it work if I create a manager's approval task for the first approval, and then a custom approval task for the 2nd approval (specifying the person it will always be), and then once those approvals are both secured, kick off the SCTASK? It seems like it should work, but I'm fairly new at this, so would appreciate any feedback about whether this would actually work or not. Thank you!
