Why is the drop down list and attachment text 'Drag and Drop...' is faded. Is this coming from page theme / CSS

is this happening on all the reference variables in catalog item?

if yes then some CSS has gone wrong

Was this working fine earlier?

Did you recently upgrade?

check this which talks about upgrade to Australia and workaround as well

Portal dropdown options appear lighter after upgrading to Australia release

If the functionality is working correctly, the issue is likely related to the CSS or the selected theme.

Please verify whether only this specific element appears faded, or if fields in other modules, such as Incident, are also displaying the same way.

If multiple fields are faded, check the currently selected theme.
