Catalog item variable limit

Hi,

What is the maximum number of variables that can be created per catalog item?

I want to check if there are restrictions such as the upper limit of 50 fields in a custom table.

Also, is the restriction of 8126 bytes per record included when a service catalog is issued?

Hi,

I dont think there is any upper limit on  how many variables are used in a catalog. I have seen catalogs with 400+ variables. 

Not a fan of it but it answers your question.

I am not aware of a variable limit per item. We certainly have items with over 100 variables.

They are generally older ones or order guides and they are pretty poor in terms of user experience.

If you have to ask that many questions then the item becomes a barrier rather than a facilitator.

Further I am not aware of a record limit on the service catalog.
