Change reference popup list view

Hi,

I have requirements related to changing the reference list popup's view. Can I set default views which are created by me for specific table ? For example, table "A" which contains a field reference to the table that I want to set default list view will trigger the list view "ABC", table "B" will do the same logic but triggers view "ABCD".

@sieusaopolo15 then don't select the existing view. Create a new view.

Hi @jaheerhattiwale, that is a nice suggestion but the reference list popup doesn't choose the new list view I've just created. It is using the default view instead of the new view when I trigger the reference list view. Is there any scripts to set default view for reference list ?

@sieusaopolo15 no script needed, just follow the steps i shared earlier after creating a new view.

Hi @jaheerhattiwale, I followed the instructions but the default view of the reference list is still default view. Looks like this is the default configuration of ServiceNow.

@sieusaopolo15 Dont change the default view. Create new view and select that in reference list layout.
