Change request logged without submitting

Hi everyone 🙂

I am noticing that when people click on 'New Change' and start populating the form, if they decide to not log the change anymore, it still gets logged even though they do not click on 'submit'. Is it a bug in the system or is there anything I can do to keep that from happening? We are on Yokohama release.

Thanks

Thereza

@Thereza Van der

should not happen.

Any script is auto submitting this?

Did you check with some other users or this is happening with all the users?

If my response helped please mark it correct and close the thread so that it benefits future readers.

Hi @Thereza Van der

I’ve the same problem in incident table

I created a business rule to check some important fields, if they are empty the rule force to create canceled

Is a not good approach but work for me

 These cases are not recurring

Hi @Thereza Van der ,

Quickest fix :

Set up a Scheduled Job to purge incomplete changes older than, say, 1 day. That way, users’ abandoned attempts don’t clutter your change backlog
