Change the font color of a service catalog variable

Hi Experts,

We have got a requirement to hide a variable in portal and make it visible in the Ritm. And its done. Requirement is that variable has a set of instructions to be checked by the line manager when he approves the request through email.

So, that information stored in the variable should have a different font color. How can I achieve this, currently Iam storing the value in the 'Default value' field. Tried configuring style, but it doesnt work. Any ideas / suggestions would be much appreciated.

You have to make changes in Email script then check below links, it's easy

Please use variable of type 'Rich Text Label' so that you can add color or styling of your choice 🙂 Mark my answer as correct if that helps.

Hi Rin,

Is the question about having value of fields display in different font color in an email or have label text in different color?

If it's values of fields, are fields of type Single Line Text?

Fields of type "HTML" is able to contain text with text color. Setting the field to read-only will not display the html editor.

Thank you for your reply. Yes having value of fields display in different font color in an email.

Below mentioned is the field Iam hiding in the portal but making it visible in Ritm. 

When the manager tries to approve the request via email, these values should be in different color making it visible (something eye catchy).
