Changing the Select Box variable type to List collector to allow multiple selection.

we have a requirement to change the select box variable type and to allow multiple selection , to which am changing the variable type to list collector but the choices under variables are showing as sys_id even the display is check marked and also the value is present. please help with the solution

@Chiranjeevi K If the custom table has already a field set as a display field and if there are no dead references added in the list collector then it should ideally display the data from the display field. Instead of trying to change an existing field, can you trying creating a fresh field and see if the issue still occurs?

It is too risky , if the filed has value filled. 

Take back up of already filled value

delete all data for that field

change the type

and upload the old data in new data type

Try to do this in PDI first and share feedback.

As a solution, kindly check and make sure that there should not be 2 or more Fields "Display" Value as "True".
