Closing Last Task in Order Guide RITM is Very Slow

Looking for some advice and things to look at, as I don't know where to even begin to look for the problem.

 

For onboarding, we have an order guide that typically has 4-6 RITM within it. It seems to be when the final task on the last RITM is closed, it takes a long time for it to actually accomplish this, where the "transaction completed: 106 seconds" yellow banners come up on the screen forcing people to wait for... whatever it is doing.

 

I am not positive it is always the last ticket in the order guide, but it does seem at least related to the order guide if not the last task. I can see nothing obvious in the comments and activities in the workflow, and I don't know how to track this problem down. Is it normal to take 1.5 mins to close down an order guide with 5ish RITM in it? I have noticed it can take a while to OPEN them from the portal as well, with things pausing there to get them all open.

 

Ideas?

There is likely a client script or business rule that is doing something requiring a lot of querying which is tying up the client session until it finishes. I would take a look at a few things. Look at Business rules on the table where you are seeing the yellow bar when closing, as well as the business rules, and any possible Flows.
