Combining Activity logs of Parent and Child requests

I can't seem to find where there is   the ability to combine the Activity logs from a Parent and a Child task into one continuous chronological view.   I can see a business case for this when you have multiple TASKs under a RITM that need to coordinate and see updates from each child in the parent view.   Am I missing something in the wiki? Or has anyone done something like this before?

Thanks for the help on this, but I think I'll steer away from pushing things from one record to another.   This is what is causing our issues in the first place. We already push from TASK up to the RITM.   What I was looking for was a combined view of the Activity logs, not pushing a update from one record to another.   That is what we are doing now and it's not pretty and causes blind spots for both customers and engineers trying to contact customers.



I think I'll put an enhancement request to ServiceNow. In a perfect world it'd be lovely to see the same info combined in a clean Activity Log and not duplicate information being pushed back and forth between 2 or more separate records.

We are also trying to implement the same where we want to combine the child and parent activity logs. Did you get a solution or any workaround u used?

Hi,

Any luck finding a solution to this one? We are attempting to reference a related list approval notification in the parent tickets activity log.
