Comparison of excel with CMDB table

Hello Team,

 

I have an use case to compare the excel with CMDB_CI table. I have to compare the name/ system name/ serial number from excel with respective fields in CMDB table. I don't want to insert/ update any CI in the table. Here, I need to count how many devices are present in CMDB wrt excel and list of missing devices in CMDB.

Hi @MMDivya 

 

You can bring excel data in Sn via report, there is option there called External Import which can help you.

I'm unable to find the source type as "external import" in my personal instance. Can u guide me on how to add this option to the report?

Try to upgrade teh report plugin or upgrade PDI to D.C. Release.
