Configure Function field in Calendar Report on RITM table but for particular Catalogue Variable.

How to design Calendar Report & configure function field on the basis of particular variable from Catalogue.
Suppose I have 100 RITMs which captures variable such as Users info: Name, Email id, Phone number and joining date. I want to create a calendar report on the basis of Joining date, The report should show Calendar along with RITM/REQ# , e.g 23/01/2023 should show RITM00111, RITM00222 & RITM 00333 as the users who created these requests chose the joining date as 23/01/2023. See example screenshot for change request 'Image 2' shows the Change request on the basis of Planned start Date. 
We can configure the function field for the field which are available on the selected table, but how to do it -

if configuration is required for the Variable in RITM.

In your conditions variables should be an option. Same when you go to columns. You should have variables as an option. You will need to expand it and choose the item along with the variables.

Hi @Brian Lancaster , I can select the item variable in condition but it's not something configurable on the 'Configure function Field': see Image 1.
It is expected to show on calendar report for Ex: RITM11111000 on Jan 13, 2023, as the joining date chosen by user on Request is "23/01/2023": See Image 2

I'm not sure what you are trying to show me in these screenshots. Image 2 shows no filter on your report. Image1 is mostly cut off.

One other question: is the variable on your ritm a date or date/time field?

Apologies for the confusion - Image 2 is the example how the Change request is visible on calendar on the planned start date i.e.03 Dec 2018.
I was looking for option where i can show the RITM numbers on calendar, let's say if i open calendar report for January '23 it should show me the RITMs in which joining date is chosen any date in January '23.. 

Yes, the Joining Date is the Date field Variable on the catalogue. which is not coming up while configuring the function field in Image1.
