Copy comments from parent to the specific task if multiple tasks are there

Requirement : I have got a parent record with multiple child tasks. These tasks have got different descriptions and different assigned to users. When an additional comment is added in to one of the task say A, I have to copy the comments from that task and update the case's additional comments, so that the notification is sent to the requestor.

But when the reply comes back and update it in the additional comments of the case (parent), I would need to copy the comments that came back an update only to the work notes for child task A and not to any other tasks.

How could this be achieved? Is there a way to identify and update the reply comments from the parent record to the specific child task record?

The biggest question is why? You're using a parent record as some sort of communication medium, but it's going to lead to a very confusing activity stream

The parent record is sort of communication medium, but the tasks are worked by different people and when the requestor replies back to the email that is specific for that task, it will come back to the parent. As the assigned to people are different, not sure how to inform that particular assigned to user to look in to the comment.

Not without a lot of technical debt.

If this is CSM Case management, wanting to do this automatically would indicate the value of the case hasn't been fully understood by the customer.

Yeah, it's a CSM case. What's the best practice here? Should they communicate through the parent record and check the comments for any updates to the case?
