create a role only to view( read ) incidents and requests ?

Dears , 

i have one user in my company the only one who is having the changemanagment role only . 

for the changes there is a related request to the change or incidents . 

he need to view this incident or request only , so when he search in global search he will not be able to view any incident or request . 

since his role in the company requires that he needs to view these incidents and requests related to the change 

so im trying to make a role for him just to read- view incidents and requests without any other privilege . 

is that possible ?\

We already are shipping a user role called 'sn_incident_read' that basically gives read access to the Incident Management application and related functions. It comes as part of the 'ITSM Roles' plugin. Please go through the below documentation to see what roles would be available with this plugin -

If this 'sn_incident_read' role serves your purpose, then you can request activation of this plugin.

This plugin "ITSM Roles" is available by default on New York and above instances.

Customers on prior releases who have upgraded to New York need to manually request for this plugin thorough "HI -> Catalog Request".

Thank you for your reply , i have them but im getting Do not activate this plugin directly. Activating com.snc.itsm.roles will activate this plugin for you.

 

com.snc.itsm.roles that i cannot find even in hi portal . i raised a case with them now . thanks for your help
