create a role only to view( read ) incidents and requests ?

Dears , 

i have one user in my company the only one who is having the changemanagment role only . 

for the changes there is a related request to the change or incidents . 

he need to view this incident or request only , so when he search in global search he will not be able to view any incident or request . 

since his role in the company requires that he needs to view these incidents and requests related to the change 

so im trying to make a role for him just to read- view incidents and requests without any other privilege . 

is that possible ?\

Hi,

Have you tried with before Query business rule on request table.

Use this query business rule to prevent users from accessing certain records.

This will restrict your records based on some role.

thanks for your reply , yes indeed . but the requirment is to give them the access . business rule didnt work unfortunately
