Helo!
I have an ask to edit a workflow to create a second task when a first task is "closed complete." Please see attached screen shot. But the logic breaks. As is the task is always made, no matter what the closed condition of the first task is. If I flip the logic the task is never made, no matter what the closed condition of the first task is. What did I miss or am doing wrong?

Hi @Lance_1,
Make sure that you are setting Wait for completion check box as true.
Is it possible to share the Wait for condition scripts/ conditions here?
If my response helps you resolve your issue. Kindly mark it as helpful & correct. It will be helpful to future readers! 👍🏻
Thanks,

Hi @Lance_1 ,
I think wht Sagar is trying to mention is in the 1st catalog task when u open that activity there will be one checkbox of wait for condition. Make sure it is checked. In that case the later activity/node of wait for condition for which u have attached screenshot that will not be required.
As it is the OOTB behaviours by servicenow whenever the checkbox within catalog task node is true it will wait until the catalog task is closed, then only it will move forward.
Thanks,
Danish
