Unless I am mistaken, there seems to be a time zone missing from the platform. I'm looking for the time zone I can use for Dubai. I see that it is GMT+4 and uses the United Arab Emirates time zone, but I can't seem to get the underlying java code to recognise any new entries I put in.
If anyone can shed any light on this I'd be grateful.
Cheers

Hi Plissken,
You can go and enter "Asia/Dubai" for your purpose.
Navigation Path
System Properties---> System--->
System timezone for all users unless overridden in the user's record enter "Asia/Dubai"
here and save.
PLEASE mark my answer as CORRECT if it served your purpose.

Hiya creativethinker, you know JUST after I posted this I spotted the Dubai entry in the list under Asia/Dubai instead of all the other time zones that was stated on Google, I wasn't even looking under Asia!!!!!
Thanks for replying anyway! I'll mark it as helpful - cheers

Thanks... you can mark it as CORRECT if it served your purpose. So that others if encounter the same issue will be able to see that and the question will go away from Unanswered to Answered.

Hi Plissken,
See this link for how to add other timezones - I found that most are already there, just not shown on the list by default.
You can also enter our own, but you can't have the same one twice - on Helsinki I was adding another NZ timezone and it caused issues - that's when I found the above link and selected the correct ones that I needed.
Hope this helps
Carl.
