Custom field not available to add in the activity filter.

I have a custom table where it's required to add some custom fields to the activity filter to to see field changes in activities.

While trying to add a custom field by configuring the activity filter, the field is not available in the Available slush bucket.

Please let me know if something is missing here.

It has to be audited. Could you please check if Audit is enabled for the custom field by checking its dictionary?

you cannot add dot walked field to it.

Is that field on same table?

what is the field type?
