Customize group filter on dashboard homepage

I want to hide some groups from the dashboard homepage group filter without deleting groups.

1. Go to the "Groups" module in ServiceNow.
2. Locate the group that you want to hide from the dashboard homepage group filter.
3. Click on the group name to open the group record.
4. In the "Related Links" section, click on "View Application Menu".
5. Locate the application menu that contains the group that you want to hide.
6. Click on the "Edit" icon (pencil) next to the application menu name.
7. In the "Menu Items" tab, find the group that you want to hide.
8. Click on the "Hide" checkbox next to the group name.
9. Click "Save" to save your changes.

Once you have completed these steps, the group that you have hidden will no longer be visible in the dashboard homepage group filter, but it will still exist in ServiceNow and can be used for other purposes.

the above solution doesn't work, I did delete the default groups and created my customized group names.

I do have same requirement but would like to hide the group from dashboard.

There is no "View Application Menu" in the "Related Links" sections of group record.

Kindly help me out for the same.
